Day by day itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to Bulgaria!
The tour starts with a private transfer from Sofia/ Sofia Airport/ Plovdiv.
On the way optional visit to Alexandrovo Thracian Tomb.
Welcome home-made dinner at the Wild Farm in Gorno Pole village.
*Don’t miss to try the home-made rakia (Bulgarian brandy) of Nikolai – our host.
Overnight: Wild Farm House in Gorno Pole village
Day 2: Farm Activities & Vulture and Bird-Observation
Morning activities in the Wild Farm with the sheep, horses, bees.
In the afternoon: vultures observation in the area of Madjarovo Conservation Center
Home-made dinner with bio products from the Wild Farm garden, personally picked up from our hostess.
Optional: you can join the cooking process the learn a traditional Bulgarian recipe.
Overnight: Wild Farm House in Gorno Pole village
Day 3: Horse-back Riding & Aurochs Observation
Morning transfer to Studen Kladenets Dam.
Horse-back riding in the area and observation of a rewilding project of wild horses and aurochs.
Back to the Wild Farm for dinner.
Overnight: Wild Farm House in Gorno Pole village
Day 4: Kayaking Adventures
Morning kayaking adventures in the waters of Arda River
Optional: visit to Borislavtsi village where we will visit a small atelier for home-made sesame oil and butter (an old Bulgarian tradition).
Back to the Wild Farm for dinner.
Overnight: Wild Farm House in Gorno Pole village
Day 5: Farm Activities and back to Sofia
Morning activities in the Wild Farm.
Transfer back to Sofia. Optional visit to Plovdiv Old Town!
