“The Balkan Peninsula remains largely unexplored by modern adventurers, and there are surprises at every turn. Pristine mountains, rich cultural traditions, and a fascinating geopolitical history make Kosovo, Macedonia, and Bulgaria a trio of inspiring destinations for travelers in search of the unexpected.” by Jordan Campbell | National Geographic | September 2016

Adventure Tourism headliners from all over the Globe came with the goal to learn and explore in depth the nature and culture of the Balkan Peninsula region, which was represented by all the 12 countries. The intent of the international gathering was to develop new partnerships for a tourism that leaves positive local economic benefit, while helping to protect, preserve and thoughtfully expose its features to high value global travelers.

The cherry on the cake was the 6 day post event trip that Odysseia – In had to lead for 11 of the participants of the event. Stela Samouneva and Simeon Dimitrov guided an incredible group of people who were always keen to see and learn as much as possible. It wasn’t an ordinary tour, but a journey of shared love, laugh, emotions, delicious food and great outdoors.
